Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026.
MyNumberRules gives you a phone number of your own and takes messages on it. This page explains what we keep about you, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What We Keep
- Your account: your name, email address and password (stored only in a form that can't be turned back into the password), and whether you use two-factor sign-in or sign in with Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn.
- Your number and greeting: the number you chose, and the greeting you recorded, uploaded or typed.
- Your messages: each voicemail left for you, with the caller's number, when it was left and how long it is.
- Your calls: for each call to your number, the caller's number, when it came in and how long it lasted, so we can charge for it.
- Billing: your payments and balance. Your card details are held by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Messages you send us through the website's contact or feedback forms.
How We Use It
Only to run the service for you: to answer calls to your number, keep and email your messages, charge for calls, and tell you about your account (for example, when your credit is low). We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who Else Sees It
We use a small number of service providers to carry calls, store recordings, send email and take payments. They handle your information only to do that work for us. We share information with anyone else only if the law requires it.
How Long We Keep It
Messages stay until you delete them. When you delete one, it's deleted from our systems too. If you close your account, we delete your messages and greeting; we keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms from forgery. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Your Choices
You can see and change your details under Settings, and listen to, download or delete your messages at any time. To get a copy of everything we hold about you, or to have your account deleted, email support@mynumberrules.com.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
